It’s not too strange to see a wrestler leave the #WWE and come back a few years later. There are several wrestlers, though, that don’t have much of a chance of coming back. These wrestlers have been blacklisted for one reason or another and aren’t welcome in a WWE ring. Here are fifteen superstars who are definitely on Vince McMahon Festival of Friendship list!
***TOP FIFTEEN SPOILERS***
15. JUVENTUD GUERRERA
If you watched WCW or WWE around the turn of the millennium, you probably remember Juventud Guerrera. A high-flying luchador, he was up there with Rey Mysterio when it came to crossover potential. Unfortunately, his demons got the best of him. […]
14. ALBERTO DEL RIO
If there’s anyone who you think could slide off of the WWE’s blacklist, it’d be Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio has managed to come and go from the WWE after some fairly major issues, and he was able to be re-hired even after a lawsuit against the WWE.
Still, his newfound reputation for skipping shows and his famously toxic relationship with WWE superstar Paige[…]
13. BIG CASS
Once a part of one of the WWE’s hottest tag teams, Big Cass is a recent addition to the blacklist. No one’s quite sure why he was cut, but rumors of having an attitude and being a toxic presence in the locker room abound. Even with that said, Big Cass did seem to leave on fairly friendly terms. […]
12. ENZO AMORE
Enzo Amore (aka nZo or Real1) was one of the real NXT success stories, overcoming a slight stature and a fairly basic move set thanks to incredible charisma. Apparently genuinely hated behind the scenes and prone to overinflating his own importance, it’s not much of a surprise that Enzo was sent packing. The now-dismissed charge against him by a former lover was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. […]
11. TEDDY HART
As as a member of the Hart family, you’d think that Teddy would be a shoo-in for the WWE. Unfortunately, Teddy’s attitude not only cost him his spot with the company, but it’s made it hard for him to ever work there again. […]
10. BRAD MADDOX
Brad Maddox is probably best known as a would-be Raw GM, but had a fairly long history with the WWE both in the developmental territories and on the main brands. Unfortunately, Maddox was never quite as good as his ego led him to believe. […]
9. CARLITO
Carlito made a pretty big splash in the WWE back in the day, but he’s the one member of the Colon family who doesn’t seem to be welcome back in the ring. He’s shown up when Carlos Colon was put in the Hall of Fame, but he’s otherwise been a non-entity on WWE television. […]
8. GAIL KIM
If you’re a fan of women’s wrestling, you know Gail Kim. One of TNA’s most legendary Knockouts and a true veteran of the industry, you’d think she’d be celebrated by the Women’s Revolution. […]
7. COLT CABANA
Colt Cabana was barely a presence in the WWE as Scotty Goldman, but his post-WWE career as a podcast host is what really hurt his future with the company. Cabana was probably best known for being a friend of CM Punk, and he’s the man to whom Punk went when he was ready to tell his side of the story against the WWE. […]
6. RYBACK
The Big Guy’s career had a lot of ups and downs, but he was WWE all the way. He started in NXT and got a great deal of screen time, making everyone a little surprised when he got released. Given that his release was at least partially mutual, though, it seemed like Ryback could come back at any time. […]
5. RAVEN
Raven was better known as an ECW and WCW wrestler, but he had a few good runs with the WWE in a few different guises. As Raven, though, he clearly didn’t fit in with the WWE and Vince McMahon reportedly didn’t even understand why he was hired back in the first place! […]
4. CODY RHODES
Cody Rhodes left the WWE on very good terms, going off to work the indies. After he found incredible success, though, it’s become clear that Cody probably won’t be welcomed back to Connecticut any time soon for one big reason – he’s the competition.
Cody has not only been a part of the founding of the rival #AEW , but he’s one of the few to put on a Pay-Per-View in the United States that managed a gate comparable to the WWE. […]
3. AJ LEE
By all accounts, AJ Lee didn’t leave the WWE on bad terms. She worked through her contract and is one of the few wrestlers to leave without taking a loss in her last match. While AJ’s prominence in the WWE definitely came with a lot of struggles, it’s her marriage that has her on the blacklist. […]
2. CM PUNK
You won’t be seeing CM Punk in the WWE, at least not if things stay like they are today. Punk left the company under a heavy cloud, both breaking his contract and being fired on his wedding day. […]
