WWE has had so many wrestlers come and go through its doors, it is practically impossible to keep track anymore. In recent years, the company has stopped shunning the independent scene, and has made it a point to raid promotions such as Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling for their most promising talent. Due to this change in tactics, WWE is now home to a large chunk of the most talented in-ring workers currently operating in the business. But regardless of how talented WWE’s roster may be, there is only so much airtime for talent to shine, as a result of which, the company often has to handpick the Superstars it believes are most worthy or deserving of a push. In recent times, Superstars such as John Cena and Roman Reigns have been on the receiving end of massive pushes from the company, and have been clearly been positioned as WWE’s poster boy as a result. But they are exceptions, as there is often only one Superstar every ten years or so who benefits from such a push. Regardless, there are still a number of wrestlers who have been pushed to the main event, or just treated like a big deal from the moment they stepped into the squared circle. There are few that repay WWE’s faith in them, but there are others who failed to live up to their billing. So, let’s check out 10 wrestlers WWE regrets pushing.
