BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs have a long, storied rivalry. During his statement-making return to regular competition at AIW’s 2011 TPI tournament, that classic rivalry was reignited in first round TPI action. Whitmer brings his impressive array of suplexes, Jacobs brings his spike, and the two brawl all around the Intense Arena in an attempt to make it to night two.

Fast forward two years: Whitmer is a two time finalist of our annual tournament, the reigning Intense Division Champion, and appears to be on a path towards war with Chris Dickinson. Jimmy Jacobs finds himself on the list, though he was called into action by The Duke to aid #NIXON at The End of the World. In just over a week’s time, Dickinson will be hand-choosing Whitmer’s opponent at Damn It Feels Good to Be A Gangsta. We don’t want to speculate, but could the Original Death Machine do much better than the crazed, psychotic animal who has shed more of BJ Whitmer’s blood than anybody else in professional wrestling? Or, following John Thorne’s strategy from last year, when he chose Drake Younger as Rickey Shane Page’s opponent, could Whitmer choose somebody he knows very well as Dickinson’s opponent? It could go either way, folks. Or it could go neither. The contracts for both matches at Damn It Feels Good to Be A Gangsta will remain unsigned until belltime, and neither Whitmer or Dickinson has even hinted at who’ll be in Cleveland next friday. You can find out before anybody else by being at #Gangsta next Friday! Tickets are just $15, and can be purchased at http://www.shop.aiwrestling.com
