Bad blood between Memphis Wrestling legends Eddie Marlin and Tommy Gilbert going all the way back to their days as a tag team results in a bloody Cowboy Boot Match in Memphis at the Mid-South Coliseum. These two can’t wait to get at each other but the excitement really begins when the boots start coming off! Note that both wrestlers are over 57 years old at the time of this taping. Eddie Marlin takes an impressive body slam down on the concrete floor with no problem though, despite his age.

Play-by-play: Lance Russell and “Broadway” Danny Wolf.
Referee: Frank Morrell.
Date: April 4, 1988
