Since the first episode of #TenPoundsOfGold, Nick Aldis vs. Tim Storm was the rivalry that defined the modern era of the National Wrestling Alliance.
Their first two matches took place in late 2017, but Nick Aldis vs. Tim Storm 3 took nearly 2 years to happen. Tim Storm lost his rematch in the empty arena match with Jocephus and the only way he could get another shot was to guarantee he would never challenge for the title again if he lost.
