The six man tradition on Wrestlemania weekend can be traced back to Dragon Gate’s debut in Ring Of Honor in 2006. The tradition lived on in WWN with Dragon Gate in DGUSA. It continues now on the WWN Supershow: Mercury Rising.
The WWN Supershow in 2015 featured a star studded six man tag with Johnny Gargano, Kota Ibushi & TJ Perkins vs. Will Ospreay, Tommy End (Aleister Black) and Marty Scurll.
This year’s edition will take place on April 6th in New Orleans. It will feature the athletes that WWN feels will lead indie wrestling in 2018. It has Austin Theory, Travis Banks & Zachary Wentz vs. Darby Allin, DJZ & Trey Miguel. Will these emerging stars reach the success of their predecessors?
